An Adventure At The Copper Mountain, Colorado Starbucks - June 2006
|
I have a story to tell from our adventure at
the Copper Mountain Starbucks. (Adjacent photo) We walked inside and as
my buddy Scott and I were ordering, somehow we got to talking to the Starbucks
cashier about Scott's pathetic dating life.
(Photo of Scott at the bottom; The one with the chips and salsa.) I started ranting and raving
about how Scott regularly visits the forums on my web site
(ColoradoGuy.com) and how I
have tried to set him up with five
really beautiful women who also regularly the site. I know for a fact that
four of them like him and would be very interested in meeting him. But nooooooooo, Scott
is too stubborn, scared and thick-headed! At some point during my diatribe, the Starbucks worker was taken
aback and I think it was because she thought I was going to try to set her up with Scott, but
that was not what I was planning to do! :p) Anyway, it was an interesting experience and I just knew I need to share it on Coffee Nerds. |

Now Copper Mountain is known as a nice ski town
in Summit County, the mecca for Colorado skiing. Here is one view of the Rocky Mountains. |

Here's a shot of the ski slopes inside the town of Copper Mountain. |

That's me. I merely got the largest coffee. Bold, cream, no sugar. |

There's a shot of my buddy Scott Baker. Earlier we hiked inside Mayflower Gulch (near Fremont Pass) and then had lunch at a Mexican place in Copper Mountain. We stopped at the Starbucks on the way out.
Folks, if you are interested in meeting Scott from a romantic standpoint,
let me know on the Coffee Forum! :) |
