Are There Any American Grown Coffees?

Coffee BeansUnderstanding that coffee beans grow well in areas near the equator, are there any warm climate areas in the USA, such as Hawaii, southern Arizona, south Texas, or maybe southern Florida, that grow coffee beans?

Yes! Coffee beans grown and are farmed in Hawaii. Hawaii happens to be somewhat of an anomaly in that it is the only area of the world that produces coffee that is not located between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. One of the its famous coffee brands, known as "Kona", is grown in Hawaii which lies just north of the Tropic of Cancer.

Everywhere else in the USA is just too far north from the equator for coffee to grow. It really enjoys that tropical weather!
